We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to an overall nice first half of the Memorial Day Weekend. Welcome to the weekend, and oh my goodness was it nice! We had plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 60s courtesy of a nice, northwest wind.

The humidity returned Friday thanks to southerly winds; so expect it to feel more uncomfortable again this holiday weekend. A few showers may return Sunday with a better chance into next week. Memorial Day forecast should be warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s and heat indices in the low to mid 90s.

Clouds will thicken overnight, leading to another chance for rain and storms into the overnight period into early Saturday. A few storms could be gusty, at times, as lows fall back into the 60s.
