Barry Jenkins is in talks to direct Glen Powell in the sci-fi thriller "The Natural Order," based on Matthew Aldrich's manuscript, for Universal.

This marks the first project for Powell and producing partner Dan Cohen’s banner Barnstorm through the first-look deal with Universal that began last month.
