Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, met with patients and staff at the RHS Wellness Garden at Colchester Hospital, where she talked about her own experience with cancer. The British princess spoke with patients and staff at the hospital's Oncology Wellness Center about the importance of recovery and receiving guidance and support after treatment.

Kate, 43, announced in January that she is in remission from cancer. She first announced her cancer diagnosis publicly in March 2024. Kate has not shared the type of cancer with which she was diagnosed or any details of her treatment beyond sharing that she underwent chemotherapy.

As Kate, the Princess of Wales, returns to work at her own pace, she made a personal visit to Colchester Hospital where she spoke with cancer patients and staff about the roller coaster of diagnosis,
