The NCAA men's tournament bracket was revealed on Sunday with Auburn announced as the No. 1 seed playing out of the South region. How Auburn got here Auburn secured the No. 1 overall seed thanks to winning the SEC regular season and producing a 28-5 record while playing the nation’s second-hardest schedule.

Auburn topped Creighton by outrebounding the Blue Jays, 37-27, and by outscoring Creighton's bench, 31-10. Tahaad Pettiford scored a majority of Auburn's bench points with 23 while Chad Baker-Mazara led all starters with 17 points.
