Aston Villa have just one point from their first two games of the 2025-26 season after losing 1-0 to Brentford, and Unai Emery's side looks to have taken a step backwards over the summer.

Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has suggested Yoane Wissa could be in the squad to face Aston Villa on Saturday. Andrews said Wissa, 28, had been a “part of the group” this week and explained he will make a late decision over whether the forward will be involved at the weekend.
