Sony has raised the price of its PlayStation 5 consoles being sold in the United States by $50. “Similar to many global businesses, we continue to navigate a challenging economic environment,” Sony Global Marketing Vice President Isabelle Tomatis wrote in a blog post.

Apple will raise the price of streaming service Apple TV+ by $3 starting Thursday, following a similar move by Comcast-owned NBCUniversal's Peacock.

Apple TV+ is raising its price by 30%, following the path of many streamers who have increased their subscription costs.
