Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has unwittingly found himself at the center of another draft day conspiracy theory ahead of the team's preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams.

Sanders played well in his first preseason game, a 30-10 win over the Panthers. Sanders, who played the majority of the game's first three quarters before he was replaced by veteran Tyler Huntley, went 14 of 23 for 138 yards with a pair of touchdowns.

The Cleveland Browns did what no other NFL team was willing to do through four full rounds of April’s draft — they selected Shedeur Sanders. If Sanders was going to land in Cleveland, the expectation was that it would be in the first or second round.
