Tallahassee residents donated food, water, cleaning supplies, and more for a supply drive for Hurricane Helene survivors.

Local agencies are gathering donations to support those who were affected by Hurricane Helene. According to Facebook posts made by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and White Sulphur Springs EMS, donations are being gathered to take to North Carolina to aid with disaster relief.

Several Indianapolis-based organizations are providing help to people affected by Hurricane Helene. The Indianapolis branch of the American Red Cross announced that two volunteers drove an emergency response vehicle to North Carolina on Tuesday to provide relief for those dealing with the aftermath of the storm,

By Friday, much of Tallahassee looked untouched by Helene's fury. Residents walked trails and sidewalks, breathing in fresh air like any other day. Others sunbathed poolside or jumped in their cars to survey damage. Some neighborhoods showed minor signs of impact, such as downed basketball hoops and tree limbs.
