The Cybertruck looks more and more like an experiment and that's not helping Tesla's position in the competitive EV world.

Tesla Inc. notified US auto-safety officials of a fifth recall involving the Cybertruck in the less than a year since the polarizing pickup launched.

Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertrucks because the rearview-camera image may not activate immediately after shifting into reverse — the fifth recall for the vehicle since it went on sale late last year.
