Vijay and director H Vinoth's Thalapathy 69 went on floors with a pooja ceremony on October 4. Reportedly, the film's shooting will commence on October 5.

Thalapathy Vijay’s final film, tentatively called Thalapathy 69, is gearing to begin soon, and ahead of it the makers announcing the main cast list of the film. Directed by H Vinoth, the makers have announced that Bobby Deol would be playing a major role in the film.

Thalapathy 69 is set to reunite Pooja Hegde with her Beast co-star Vijay. Apart from Pooja, the film also marks the maiden collaboration between Premalu actor Mamitha Baiju and Vijay.
