President Donald Trump met with interim Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa in Saudi Arabia, the first encounter between the two nations’ leaders in 25 years and one that could mark a turning point for the region as Syria struggles to emerge from decades of international isolation.

The government must give targeted migrants at least 21 days’ notice and a chance to challenge their deportations in court, the ruling said.

The ruling, applying only to detainees held in western Pennsylvania, is the first to uphold the president’s invocation of the wartime act. But it requires that detainees be given 21 days’ notice.
