York Racecourse had a special royal visitor when Queen Camilla made an appearance on the second day of the annual Ebor Festival. Jockey Ryan Moore was among those who had a chance to meet her, after she presented him with the winning trophy for the Yorkshire Oaks event.

RACEGOERS dressed to impress for another spectacular Ladies Day at York Races. Day Two of the Ebor Festival was held yesterday (Thursday, August 21) with punters in high spirits as Queen Camilla gave her stamp of royal approval to the festival.

The royal family are famed for their race day attire, from Kate Middleton’s Ascot polka dot prints to Zara Tindall’s sharp suit at Cheltenham. But it was Queen Camilla who upped the style stakes at the ‘world’s best race’ on Thursday, taking a break from her holiday in Balmoral to attend Ladies Day at the Ebor Festival in York.
