We finally know when we'll be getting our hands on the exciting new Xbox gaming handheld PC, and we only need to wait until October.

The most notable difference between the Xbox Ally and the Steam Deck is the operating system. Like the ROG Ally, the Xbox Ally will also use Windows 11, while the Steam Deck uses Valve's SteamOS.

The two upcoming handhelds from Microsoft and Asus will be available on Oct. 16. Pricing was not revealed, but the original ROG Ally started at $700.
