Court documents state that Bruce got into an argument with Holland and the other witness before allegedly firing off a warning shot with his shotgun. After a second warning shot, Bruce said Holland walked away – then he said the shotgun "discharged accidentally" at Holland.

A woman who was fatally shot on Saturday in North Austin was an unintended target, the Austin Police Department said Monday. The department also identified a suspect in the incident as Noah Mata, 36,

APD identified the victim as 32-year-old Travis Holland. APD officers detained a suspect, who was identified as William Bruce, 31.

A suspect has been charged with murder after police said he shot and killed a man Nov. 14 in North Austin. According to the Austin Police Department (APD), 31-year-old William Bruce was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail on a murder charge.
