The Black Sabbath vocalist has told Rolling Stone that he’ll be inducted into the Rock Hall at the ceremony on October 19 by actor and musician Jack Black. Furthermore, Billy Idol, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and country star Jelly Roll will sing in a star-studded tribute band to the metal legend.

A bunch of friends and collaborators will honor Ozzy Osbourne as he's inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this month.

Many of the contributors have previously performed and recorded with or served in the backing bands of the 75-year-old Osbourne. Watt produced the artist’s most recent studio albums, Ordinary Man and Patient Number 9, which featured Wylde, Smith and Trujillo. Other participants such as Jelly Roll have long named him as a key influence.

The Prince of Darkness will receive all-star tribute when he enters the Rock Hall as a solo artist this month.
