Frankie Montas’ season is over, and quite possibly his time as a New York Met,as well. The much-maligned pitcher was placed on the 15-day injured list onSaturday with a UCL injury in his right elbow.

Manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters that Montas’ UCL injury is “pretty significant,” via Mike Puma of the New York Post.
