Music’s Biggest Night generated 15.4M viewers, according to Nielsen data, down nearly 9% from the 2024 show’s years-long high note of 16.9M viewers. Perhaps more important, CBS also says that the show raised $9M for Los Angeles’ wildfire relief efforts.

The viewership drop snaps a three-year streak for the Grammys. Ratings steadily increased during that period, culminating with nearly 17 million viewers for last year’s show. Ratings had started to climb after 2021, when a stripped-down pandemic ceremony saw its audience fall to roughly nine million viewers.

The Grammys pulled in 15.4 million viewers on CBS in 2025, per Nielsen. That's down 12% from last year's linear ratings.
