A 15-year-old student is facing charges after a laptop caught fire outside a classroom in what police suspect was part of a social media challenge trending on TikTok.

"Size is right (based on large enough screen) with easy portability. Clear, bright colors, good keyboard size and layout.

It's a costly, dangerous social media challenge and the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office said they've responded to calls about it. Today, they put out a warning.
