While some people think Sanders might have a chance to play in Cleveland, Andrew Perloff thinks it isn’t a good fit.

The Cleveland Browns selected the former Colorado quarterback in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday, ending Sanders' long wait. Sanders entered the draft as one of the most highly regarded quarterback prospects, with many projecting him to go in the first or second round.

Sanders said his first priority with the Browns is "showing respect to the vets" and coaches. Why? Perhaps to dispel the oft-rumored and reported pre-draft notion that Sanders, the son of former NFL great Deion Sanders, turned off potential suitors thanks to an outsized or even entitled personality.
