Walker Little suffered a high ankle sprain last week against the Las Vegas Raiders and will be out likely for the rest of the year, per head coach Doug Pederson. Cole Van Lanen will take over at the tackle spot while Little is out.

He hurt his ankle against the New York Jets in Week 15 and aggravated the injury against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. “Walker Little will be out with the ankle, he’ll probably miss the rest of the year,” Pederson said Thursday.

For all intents and purposes, the Jacksonville Jaguars' season ended a long time ago. The Jaguars' playoff hopes were dashed long before December. The ability to end the year on a strong note has already been negated by frustrating second-half losses at home to teams the Jaguars should have beat.
