A mural of Eberechi Eze outside Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium has been defaced, seemingly by Tottenham supporters.

Eze has undergone a medical with Arsenal and an official announcement of a £67.5million deal is expected imminently. Meanwhile, Arsenal fan ‘North Bansky’ celebrated the deal by stencilling an image of Eze on a tunnel outside the Emirates Stadium. The mural showed Eze in an Arsenal shirt doing his trademark celebration.

David Ornstein has now revealed that Tottenham were actually ready to increase their offer to the release clause value after finding out that Arsenal were attempting a hijack. Unfortunately for them, it was too late, as the Gunners were prepared to match that, and Eze chose Arsenal over Spurs.
