Texas-born actress Eva Longoria has joined the growing list of celebrities who have turned their backs on the U.S. and relocated abroad in the wake of Donald Trump‘s election win, revealing in a new interview that she is “done” with life in “dystopian” America and is now based full-time between Spain and Mexico.

Eva Longoria explained in a recent podcast conversation with Ana Navarro that President-elect Donald Trump and the recent election did not prompt her move abroad. She clarified she's been living between Spain and Mexico with her husband José Bastón and their 6-year-old son Santiago for the last few years.

Although Eva Longoria has relocated outside the United States, she didn’t make her decision based on any one politician. The Golden Globe nominee, who mostly splits her time between Spain and Mexico City with her family,
