Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to be reevaluated in 12 weeks after suffering a right turf toe injury, the team announced July 2. Jackson will undergo a procedure after he suffered the toe injury in an offsite basketball setting, the team said July 1.

Memphis Grizzlies All-Star big man Jaren Jackson Jr. is recovering from surgery for a turf toe injury and will be re-evaluated in about 12 weeks.

Jackson is coming off a career year after winning Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. Last season, he averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game on 48.8/37.5/78.1 shooting splits to earn him All-Star honors for the first time.
