On July 23, a TikTok influencer named Karla — known by her handle @itskarlabb — posted a video recalling a collab gone wrong with Kis Cafe, a restaurant that opened in San Francisco in May.

"Hi everyone- I am Luke Sung (previous chef of Kis Cafe). It was important for me to first apologize to Karla privately and step away from Kis cafe before publicly apologizing," the post began.
