We've been poking fun at Atlus ever since it started steadfastly refusing to admit (in marketing material, anyway) that its imminent RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio, is actually coming to PS5 and PS4 on 11th October,

Metaphor ReFantazio launches on October 11 for PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series consoles and PC, but one outlet has reviewed the game early.

First up, Atlus' much-anticipated fantasy RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio, earns itself a 37/40, with the panel of four awarding three 9s and a 10. Meanwhile, the Silent Hill 2 remake, developed by Bloober Team, also earns itself a high rating of 35/40 (three 9s and an 8).

A description for the demo leaked on the Hong Kong on the Xbox store earlier today, describing a prologue for Metaphor: ReFantazio that would show players its opening, and carry over their demo progress to the full game.

Persona 5 was a ridiculously long game, and it looks like the next title from the devs behind it, Metaphor: ReFantazio, will take up just as much of your time.
