For the first time in 2024, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee has revealed its top 25 rankings looking ahead to a historic first-ever 12-team postseason. Let’s take a look at what teams landed where as the committee goes public with the initial poll.

The first College Football Playoff rankings are here. No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Miami (Fla.) made up the top four spots as revealed Tuesday night. Before we dig into what to know in the poll, here's the top 25:

While Oregon is No. 1 in the rankings and projected to finish there if it remains unbeaten, the betting favorite is Ohio State (+330 or better). The Buckeyes are No. 1 on the odds board, No. 2 in the rankings and the projected No. 5 seed.
