The legendary musician's life is getting the documentary treatment in the new HBO film 'Billy Joel: And So It Goes'

Billy Joel: And So It Goes Part 2 premieres Friday, July 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max. An encore of Part 2 will also air at 11:25 p.m. ET on HBO. If you missed Part 1, HBO is reairing the first half at 5:30 p.m. ET.

These stories take up most of the first hour or so of the first part of And So It Goes. Once he finds success with his Piano Man album, there's no looking back. The documentary gets into full gear, and his rise (and fall) from fame makes up the breezy last 90 minutes.
