The Washington Commanders bring a world of promise into the 2025 season after a breakout ‘24 campaign, in which quarterback Jayden Daniels burst onto the scene to lead the playoff charge.

Daniels danced out of the pocket and scrambled for a 14-yard touchdown to cap his preseason performance against the Bengals after just four plays.

As the impasse continues, with McLaurin absent from the team's second preseason game on Monday, some large questions remain unanswered.

A Monday report indicated that people within the Washington Commanders are confident the club and wide receiver Terry McLaurin will agree on a "compromise" contract extension after the 29-year-old, in the final year of his current deal, requested a trade on July 31.
