Norman Clegg, often nicknamed Cleggy, is a fictional character from the world's longest-running sitcom, Last of the Summer Wine. He is the only character to appear in every episode of the programme.

Ivy is the only character other than Clegg (Peter Sallis) to have been present throughout the course of the series, although Clegg is the only one to have appeared in every episode. In some of the episodes, particularly earlier ones, she seemed to have a rivalry with Nora.

Clegg was the sounding-board for Compo's glee and the third man's authority, and was often instrumental in pointing out the pitfalls concealed within the schemes of the third man.
