The General Electric Catalyst (formerly Advanced Turboprop, or ATP) is a turboprop engine by GE Aerospace. It was announced on 16 November 2015 and will power the Beechcraft Denali, it first ran on December 22, 2017, and should be certified in 2024.

Utilizing advanced combustor capabilities, the GE Catalyst engine will feature major reductions in emissions and soot over current engines in this class. The compact four-stage axial single centrifugal compressor is designed with GE fourth generation 3D aerodynamic design capabilities.

Catalyst is the world’s first turboprop featuring these 3-D printed components, which are both lighter and more durable and ultimately deliver the best power-to-weight ratio in this engine class.

GE officially launched its new 1,000- to 1,600-shp Advanced Tur-boprop (ATP) family in November 2015 when it announced that Textron had selected the 1,240-shp variant for the new single-engine Cessna Denali. In May 2028, GE renamed the ATP, Catalyst. The Catalyst will be assembled in GE’s Czech facility in Prague.
