Willie Colón (born April 28, 1950, Bronx, New York, U.S.) is an American trombonist, composer, bandleader, and activist who helped to popularize salsa music in the United States in the 1970s.

Despite initial criticism, Colón's album El Malo was one of the first to feature the "New York Sound" that sparked a renewed interest in Latin music during the 1970s.
