The documentary, Always Lalisa, follows a pivotal year in Lisa’s life when she stepped away from her K-pop group Blackpink to embark on a year of independence. The film explores the challenges that came with striking out on her own, from the “fear and pressure of launching a solo career, pursuing acting, and building a brand, while yearning to maintain a personal life beyond the spotlight,” said Sony Music Vision, the producer of the documentary. The film will be screened on Oct. 12, 14, and 17.
