In 1995 the Burlington Northern began a merger with the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe. This merger would form the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe, now widely known as the BNSF Railway. In May of 2025, the BNSF would haul something that its Santa Fe half hasn't pulled since the 1970s. Two AT&SF passenger Cars from the 1950s.
