Mysterious Deep-Sea Fish Sets Records Off WA's Coast Scientists have caught the deepest-diving fish off the coast of WA with the help of a yabby trap purchased from a Perth tackle shop. The fish, which was found 6.5 kilometres below the surface of the Indian Ocean, was lured by a $30 bait, connected to a $100,000 piece of monitoring equipment that can work under extreme pressure. The fish, which measured 10-25 centimetres long, were discovered by researchers from the Minderoo-University of Weste
