Big news on the riverfront! A JW Marriott hotel is officially coming to the site of the old Joe Louis Arena next to Water Square Residences. This 25 story hotel will feature 600 luxury rooms, restaurants, a ballroom and 50,000 square feet of meeting space. It will also be connected by a skybridge to Huntington Place, giving Detroit its first hotel directly linked to the convention center.
