A Bug’s Life Stinky Bugger With the rain comes new life, which includes the stinky bugger below. This little critter belongs to the Pentatomidae family of Insects and we believe this particular species is the Brochymena arborea or more commonly called the Rough or Tree Stink Bug. This adult female is laying her annual set of eggs. The powdery substance seen in the video is actually a mass of pearly white, barrel-shaped eggs.
