Running Romex through brick isn’t always straightforward! In this project, I had to enlarge the exterior hole to 1-9/16" for a clamp, then drill a 1/2" hole inside—only to end up right against a floor joist. To keep the cable safe, I notched slightly and added a nail plate for protection. Not ideal, but better than leaving Romex exposed at a pinch point. Learn how to handle tricky situations, protect your wiring, and keep everything secure to code. What would you do differently? #electricaltips
