Vacuum assisted breast surgery/ VABB __________________________________ Minimally invasive method of removing benign breast lesions (fibroadenomas). Fibroadenomas uptil the size of 5-6 cms can be removed using this technique. Advantages- hardly any scar (2 mm)- can be done as a day care procedure under local anaesthesia - quick recovery (majority patients are back to work in 2-3 days)- multiple lesions don’t require multiple incisions.
