On the search for a rugged textile that suits my adventurous spirit, I found French linen and hemp seed and grain sacks. This jacket is a combo of 2 mustard striped hemp bags. Even after being worn in for 100 years they still have a coarse quality. This it’s lined with a 1920s cotton quilt backing that my friend Claire took apart.
